OACCD presents educational opportunities twice a year, in spring and fall. The annual Spring Conference, specifically for directors, offers two days of professional training, a keynote speaker, networking events planned to build relationships with other directors, and time for fun and relaxation.  The Fall Conference is held on a Saturday in November. It provides a one day professional development opportunity for directors and their staff, as well as time to be together as a staff in a relaxed setting.

In addition, local affiliate members can work together to provide training events designed for specific interest or needs.  OACCD has also collaborated on other events and conferences on a state or national level with OAEYC, and NAEYC.  OACCD members receive substantial discounts on training events and conference and a quarterly newsletter, Managing for Our Children, which expands knowledge with new perspectives and ideas.
