OACCD represents it’s members on a wide range of local and state-wide committees where policies and decisions that impact the child care community are made.  OACCD is your voice for the legislature,  the Commission for Child Care, the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education, The Child Care Division, Stand for Children, Oregon Commission for Children and Families and more.

Membership in OACCD provides access to an organization whose purpose is to bring the voice of direct service providers to the national and state child care policy dialogue.  As a member, lend your voice to an organization whose experience is recognized by professionals and law makers. You are also encouraged to join the advocacy efforts on local, state and national issues through newsletters and up-to-date information on pending legislative issues relating to child care.
